Governor's Gavel

Dear Brothers and Co-workers,

If our Lodge is to succeed, we need YOU! We need your thoughts, ideas and support in the activities that we are planning. Without your support, our Lodge WILL NOT succeed! Any ideas that you may have for activities or functions, please contact me or one of the officers. Another way for you to contact me is to come to the Thursday night meetings, which are the first and third Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. We would love to see new faces at our meetings with fresh ideas!

I want to thank Jody Wallace for taking over as the Editor of the Norwalk Informer. It is one less thing I have to worry about. I did my best, but it was hard for me to find the time with all the other things going on. We still are looking for a Shopper for the Lodge.

Administrator's Corner

Hello Everybody,

As we roll into summer, it’s time to fire up the BBQ and come on down to the Lodge! On Sunday, July 11th, the WOTM’s are hold-ing a Fundraiser BBQ, plus music. Aug 14th is our annual Past Governor’s BBQ put on by Gary Nelson, with music by the ―Offenders‖. Check it out, get some food and listen to live music.

On the third Sunday of each month, from 2 pm to 6 pm, one of our WOTM, Melissa, is conducting ―Scrapbooking 101‖, so anyone into Scrapbooking, here is a chance to get together.

We officially got our Bingo license so that will be going Monday nights! We are looking into a Poker Tournament / League where the winner gets a seat at one of the big tournaments in Viva Las Vegas—no buy-in + no money = no problem with Int’l. or State.

Thanks to Richard K. for putting on the 50’s Sock Hop; Gary for cooking; and Mack and Russ H. for their donations of food. It was a lot of fun, so bring down a prospective Member and show them all the things we have going on.

Greetings Fraternal Family,

As some of you may have noticed, I have recently added the “Jr. Governor. Soapbox” to the website, and now as the new Editor, I am adding it to the Informer.

As the Webmaster, I would like to let you all know that you can have your own "...@NorwalkMoose.org" email address. These email addresses can very easily be forwarded to your existing email account like Gmail, etc. I would like to get all computer savvy members to have a Lodge email address. If you want one and need help setting it up, I will be glad to help; just let me know!
